Cha-Tea

Cha-Tea has been my go-to forever, but I had to come back for a fresh picture for this review. I have been going here for like three years now, and the Brown Sugar Crème Brûlée still never disappoints. At this point it is basically one of my fixed picks.

I do not really know if I am the kind of person who always tries something new or just stays with what works. For matcha spots, I usually start with their most basic matcha, or the “special but still basically plain” matcha, just to see what they are working with. And with tea in general, I have maybe 3 or 4 drinks that I rotate between and that is pretty much it. Milk tea is almost always at least decent, so I do not mind experimenting there. Fruit teas, though, are terrible almost always. If you ever see me with a fruit tea, just know either I did not want to be there, I was too full and still did not want to be there, or somehow neither of those. Anyway.

Despite all that, one time I brought some friends here and for some reason we got Thai Tea. I have only really had Thai Tea from that canned one they sell at H Mart, which is somehow great, so maybe my expectations were off, but this one was terrible. Still, I believe in second chances. Until Cha-Tea gives me another bad experience, it is staying above a 7 for me easily.

Overall, this is still one of my reliable spots, and the Brown Sugar Crème Brûlée alone is enough to keep me coming back. Below is a picture of the Taro Milk Tea, Brown Sugar Crème Brûlée, and Mango Tea.
